Żwirownia Brzegi has a large colony of Мартин звичайний on the island, and Крячок малий and Крячок річковий also nest there. The terrain is varied: shrubs, grasses, deciduous trees, ponds. Among the other birds you can encounter are Каргарка нільська, Боривітер звичайний, Крех великий, Очеретянка велика, Пірникоза чорношия and Снігур звичайний.
