Description

The Witoszówka reservoir in Świdnica is a recreational place for Świdnica residents and a reserve for anglers. Although the shore is regulated without trees and reeds it is home to hundreds of birds. In winter this is a great place to observe gulls from a short distance (the reservoir is max. 300 m long, the piers are located in its south-western part). During winter migration, there are Мартин сивий, Мартин звичайний, Мартин жовтоногий and Мартин сріблястий. Often Мартин морський, Клуша and Мартин середземноморський. Occasionally Мартин трипалий. Other birds you can see are Попелюх звичайний, Чирянка велика, Лебідь-шипун, Огар рудий and Крех великий.
