Description
During the spring many waterbirds breed in the Ruda Fishponds Grebes such as Пірникоза мала, Пірникоза велика and Пірникоза сірощока. During migration many ducks can be seen, most interesting: Шилохвіст, Широконіска північна, Нерозень, Чирянка велика and Чирянка мала, and sometimes others. Рибалочка блакитний can be seen every time on the river flowing through the complex. In the reeds you can hear and see Сутора вусата, або синиця вусата, Очеретянка велика, Ремез звичайний, Очеретянка ставкова and various other species of warblers. In the sky raptors such as Орлан-білохвіст, Канюк звичайний, Яструб малий and Яструб великий. Various songbird species live in the nearby forest as well. During the migration plenty of shorebirds stop by. Коловодник великий, Коловодник болотяний, Баранець звичайний, Брижач, Коловодник лісовий and Набережник палеарктичний being the most common ones.

Access
One small parking spot behind the bridge on the river. Click on the P in the map for directions. Don't wander of the paths as it's a privately owned area. The area can only be visited on foot. The circular route indicated on the map is about 5 km.
