Description

Rezerwat Stawinoga was created from a part of a former fish farm. It is now a protected nature reserve to preserve the nesting sites of species of birds associated with the water, marsh and forest environment, as well as a resting and feeding site for migratory birds. The banks of the ponds are overgrown with rushes and reeds, and they are adjacent to willows, alder and birch groves and meadows.

You can observe several species of ducks, swans, gulls, terns, herons and four species of grebes, as well as Лунь очеретяний, Кульон великий, Бугай водяний, Очеретянка велика, Кобилочка солов’їна and Синьошийка. In the meadow areas near the ponds, you can find birds such as Чайка чубата, Коловодник звичайний, Баранець звичайний and Грицик великий. In the nearby forest Лелека чорний and Журавель сірий breed. During migration many other ducks, waders and birds of prey can be observed in the area.
