Description
Jezioro Wilanowskie (Lake Wilanowskie) is part of the Wilanów palace and park complex, constituting a water link between the Wilanów Garden and the Morysin Nature reserve. The lake is a former water course of the river Vistula. On the eastern side, the shore is more natural. The lake is surrounded by trees, reeds and mostly overgrown with water lilies. Both the lake and park are good places for birding.
Among the birds you can see in the park are Дятел середній and 4 other species of woodpecker, and also birds like Повзик звичайний, Мухоловка сіра, Сіра сова, Костогриз, Снігур звичайний and more. Along the lake you can see Лебідь-шипун, Рибалочка блакитний, Мандаринка, Крех великий, Пірникоза мала, Бугайчик, Очеретянка велика, Вивільга звичайна and sometimes Погонич звичайний.
