Bugaj Reservoir is a great place during spring and summer time. There is a breeding colony of Крячок річковий, Крячок чорний and Мартин звичайний. Two or three pairs of Лунь очеретяний also breed there. It is also a breeding place for Лебідь-шипун, Пірникоза мала, Бугай водяний, Сутора вусата, або синиця вусата, Водяна курочка and Пірникоза велика.
