Description
Lonåsen is a small village in Tunndalen, at the confluence of the rivers Tunna and Lona, about 13 kilometers northwest of the town of Tynset. The village is surrounded by forest and tundra. I stayed here for a month in the winter months of December and January. I regularly saw woodpecker species such as Дятел звичайний but also Дятел трипалий and Жовна сива. In addition, Grouse such as Куріпка тундрова, Тетерук євразійський and Глушець білодзьобий. Finch species such as the Костогриз and Снігур звичайний. Furthermore, many Повзик звичайний, Гаїчка-пухляк, Зеленяк звичайний, Чечітка звичайна, Чорна синиця, Золотомушка жовточуба, Крук звичайний and Горобець польовий.

Lonåsen is located 13 kilometers northwest of the town of Tynset. In the general area around Tynset and Lonåsen you have a chance of these sightings, especially in winter.
