This wetland area with peat and quag-mires is nice during summer for Баранець малий, Коловодник чорний and other eastern wetlandbirds. Other birds you can encounter are Орлан-білохвіст, Коловодник болотяний, Жовта плиска, Сова болотяна, Пісочник великий, Чернь чубата, Лунь польовий and Сірий (Великий) сорокопуд.
