The Yperenplas (also called Wilpse Plas) is an easy accessible birding place near the city of Deventer. It offers a wide view on the typical IJssel valley, with a good chance of special species on the lake and in the surroundings. Among the birds you can see here are Гуска сіра, Скопа, Кам’янка звичайна, Мартин сивий, Широконіска північна, Нерозень, Свищ євразійський, Косар білий, Мартин звичайний, Казарка білощока and Боривітер звичайний. Rarities that have been seen here are Чернь білоока, Гагара червоношия and Ходулoчник.
