In the Westerheide Жайворонок польовий are still numerous and during the migration period a stretch of meadow is used by Дрізд гірський and buntings. Трав'янка чорноголова can be found on every protruding stem and in summer Підсоколик великий can be seen hunting on a variety of dragonflies. Recently, Дрімлюга звичайний have started to sing occasionally in this heath area.

Hier is de Жайворонок польовий nog talrijk en tijdens de trekperiode wordt een strook weiland gebruikt door Дрізд гірський en gorzen. Трав'янка чорноголова is te vinden op elke uitstekende stengel en in de zomer is de Підсоколик великий te zien jagend op een verscheidenheid aan libellen. Sinds kort zingen Дрімлюга звичайний af en toe in dit heidegebied.

Parking can be done at Hilversumseweg 50, Hilversum (La Place restaurant). From the parking lot you can follow several routes onto the heath. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The suggested walking route on the Birdingplaces-map below is about 6,5 km long.
