Description
"De Regulieren" is a semi open to open landscape, consisting of pastures, small forests and damp meadows. The central part of the area consists of open pastures with cattle. The surroundig fences are often used by Щеврик лучний and Трав'янка чорноголова. In spring, when the vegetation of the pastures is still low, some areas contain damp meadows, which are used by mainly waders and ducks. Пісочник малий, Брижач and Грицик великий can often be found on these parts. Pairs of Чирянка мала can also be found in the small ditches between these pastures. If you're lucky, you can hear Перепілка звичайна from within these pastures. Sometimes large herds of roe deer can be present. In the surrounding forests, species like Вівчарик весняний and Кропив’янка садова breed and in the higher bushes species like Кропив’янка прудка and Кропив’янка сіра can be found. Also, Зозуля звичайна and Вивільга звичайна breed in small numbers in the area. The area contains small patches of reedbeds, which are used by Очеретянка ставкова.
Many birds of prey make use of the area as hunting and breeding habitat. Many Канюк звичайний and Боривітер звичайний can be found in the central part of the area. Підсоколик великий hunts on dragonflies above the wet pastures and, if you're lucky, you'll encounter a Осоїд євразійський. Also, Лунь очеретяний uses the area to hunt for prey.
In winter, the central part of the area is low in numbers of birds. Sometimes, large flocks of Чикотень and Дрізд білобровий can be found here. The forests are used by mixed flocks of tits and finches. Small numbers of Золотомушка жовточуба can also be found within these flocks. The surrounding pastures of the area are often used by large groups of Чепура велика.

Access
There are two parkingspots (see P on the map) to access the area in which you'll be able to make a circular walk of about 4 km. Almost all of the trails are unpaved roads and on most of them you'll just walk on grass. After a rainy period, these roads can be very wet and dirty. There are several vantage points around to take a look over the central part of the area.
