Description
The Skinderiškis Dendrological Park has a big variety of exotic trees, shrubs, and lianes brought here from different parts of the world. The park has 1400 species. All these trees also attract birds. There are observation towers and the bend in the river Šušvė offers scenic views. The park is particularly picturesque in the autumn, when about 60 species of maple trees change colours and in spring when the magnolias are in blossom. Among the birds you can encounter are Скопа, Жовна чорна, Сорокопуд терновий, Крук звичайний, Вивільга звичайна, Берестянка звичайна, Очеретянка велика, Соловейко східний, Снігур звичайний and Кобилочка річкова.
