Description

San Domino is the biggest and most wooded island of the Isole Tremiti. But it is still a small island of only 2.6 km long and 1.7 km wide. The island has pine forest, cliffs, rocks and beaches. During migration the island is a stop and passage place for Siberian and European bird species. Best times are October-November and April-May. Буревісник cередземноморський (підвид diomedea) and Малий буревісник arrive on the cliffs of San Domino in spring to nest.
