Wetland area near the San Genuario marsh with a variety of environments. Excellent for bird watching all year round.
Roggia Fonna is a wetland area near the Palude di San Genuario (San Genuario marsh). The variety of habitats offers the opportunity to observe many species including ducks, herons, waders and passerines. Late April and late August-early September are the best times to visit the area. Among the birds you can see are Чапля руда, Бугай водяний, Чапля жовта, Квак звичайний, Синьошийка, Кобилочка-цвіркун, Очеретянка середземноморська, Чирянка велика, Пірникоза мала, Лунь польовий, Ібіс священний, Ходулoчник, Коловодник чорний, Коловодник болотяний, Коловодник великий and Баранець звичайний.
