Description

Palude del Lago di Ariamacina encompasses multiple habitats: a marsh, a lake (artificial reservoir), grassland and a pine forest. It's home not only to a wide variety of birds, but also amphibians such as Italian crested newt (Triturus carnifex), insects and plants such as Pinus nigra laricio. The site is especially good during spring and autumn migration, but good sightings can be done all year around. Noteworthy sightings include Лелека чорний and Кібчик червононогий.
