The Oasis La Madonnina is bordered by the Stura River. It is located in Sant'Albano Stura in the province of Cuneo.

Description

The Oasis La Madonnina extends over 220,000 square meters and is bordered by the Stura River. The Oasis consists of two large lakes with different depths where you can observe different species of anatidae (Крижень, Чирянка мала, Чернь чубата) the most common during the year and nesting. During spring migration and winter displacements, Чирянка велика, Нерозень, Широконіска північна, Шилохвіст Попелюх звичайний can be observed. In addition to the sedentary species of Лиска звичайна, Пірникоза мала and Водяна курочка.

Nesting on floating rafts is the Крячок річковий. The lakes are surrounded by reeds where we find the Бугайчик breeder (2 pairs), and the winter visitor Бугай водяний. During the spring migration there is also the Чапля руда, Очеретянка велика and Очеретянка чагарникова (Breeder). It is characterized by a wooded islet where the Баклан великий, Мала біла чапля, Квак звичайний and Чапля єгипетська nest in good numbers, and the latter is also used to as a pre autumn migration dormitory and where it reached 1800 units (Spectacular!).

The Stura River is a "corridor" also used a lot by various birds of prey, which then find food in the Oasis, Змієїд блакитноногий, Лунь очеретяний, Осоїд євразійський, Кібчик червононогий, and Шуліка чорний (Nesting). Along the way there are different types of trees and bushes where different passerines and not only find their ideal habitat, we can find Зозуля звичайна, Горлиця звичайна, Сиворакша євразійська. And for some time now the Бджолоїдка звичайна has nested along the River Stura and colors the spring days.

Italiano: L'Oasi La Madonnina nata nel 1996 è un'area che si estende su 220.000 Mq ed è costeggiata dal Fiume Stura. Si trova a Sant'Albano Stura in provincia di Cuneo. L'Oasi è costituita da due grandi laghi con profondità diverse dove si possono osservare diverse specie di anatidi ( Крижень, Чирянка мала ,Чернь чубата) i più comuni durante l'anno e nidificanti. Durante le migrazioni primaverili e gli spostamenti invernali si possono osservare Чирянка велика , Нерозень , Широконіска північна , Шилохвіст Попелюх звичайний . Oltre alle specie stanziali di Лиска звичайна , Пірникоза мала e Водяна курочка.

Nidificante su zattere galleggianti c'è la Крячок річковий. I laghi sono circondati da canneti (Typha e Phragmites ) dove troviamo il Бугайчик nidificante (2 coppie) , e lo svernante Бугай водяний . Durante la migrazione primaverile si trova anche l' Чапля руда, Очеретянка велика e Очеретянка чагарникова (Nidificante). E' caratterizzata da un isolotto boschivo dove sono nidificanti in buon numero il Баклан великий , Мала біла чапля , Квак звичайний e Чапля єгипетська , e quest'ultimo è abitudine usare l'Oasi anche come dormitorio pre migrazione autunnale e dove ha raggiunto le 1800 unità (Spettacolare!).

Il Fiume Stura è un "corridoio" usato molto anche da vari rapaci, che poi trovano alimentazione nell'Oasi, Змієїд блакитноногий, Лунь очеретяний ,Осоїд євразійський ,Кібчик червононогий , Скопаe Шуліка чорний (Nidificante). Lungo il percorso si trovano diversi tipi di alberi e cespugli dove diversi passeriformi e non solo trovano il loro habitat ideale, possiamo trovare Зозуля звичайна , Горлиця звичайна , Сиворакша євразійська . E ormai da diverso tempo il Бджолоїдка звичайна è nidificante lungo il Fiume Stura e colora le giornate primaverili.

Access

It can be reached by car up to the external car park, through a dirt and bumpy road. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The Oasis can be explored only and exclusively on foot, it is equipped with 6 fixed huts and an observation tower 8 meters high, from where you have a view of both lakes.

Italiano: Ci si arriva in macchina fino al parcheggio esterno, attraverso una strada sterrata e sconnessa. Fare clic sulla P nella mappa per ottenere le indicazioni stradali. L'Oasi è percorribile solo ed esclusivamente a piedi, è dotata di 6 capanni fissi e di una torre di osservazione alta 8 Metri, da dove si ha la visuale su tutti e due i laghi.
