This lagoon of 90 hectares near Alghero is one of the better birding spots on Sardinia.
The Calich lagoon is home to many birds. The vegetation is varied, from a brackish area to shrubs and lemon trees of the innermost area. The lagoon is overlooked by an ancient bridge dating back to Roman times. Amongst the birds you can see here are Скопа, Кропив’янка прованська, Мала біла чапля, Чапля руда and Султанка.
