Description

Foce del Corace is the tiny mouth of the Corace river. It is located between Catanzaro Lido and Roccelletta. It's easily accessible from both sides. You can also enjoy the seaside as well as the small pine grove on Roccelletta's side. Some notable observations include Коловодник чорний, Чоботар синьоногий and Лунь очеретяний. Furthermore, during spring and summer, the nearby buildings host nesting pairs of Серпокрилець чорний and Ластівка міська. A lot of the listed birds are present only during migration.

Italiano: La foce del Corace si trova a metà tra Catanzaro Lido e Roccelletta. Si può accedere facilmente da ambo i lati. Si può anche godere della spiaggia e della piccola pineta sul lato Roccelletta. Alcune osservazioni degne di nota includono totano moro, avocetta e falco di palude. Inoltre, durante la primavera e l'estate, gli edifici vicini ospitano coppie nidificanti di rondone comune e balestruccio. Molti degli uccelli listati sono presenti solo durante le migrazioni.

Easily accessible by foot. Car parking near the promenade of Catanzaro Lido. Click on a P in the map for directions. From here, you can reach the river's mouth from the beach.
