Nagy-tó means Big Lake. In this large wetland next to the village of Tiszaalpár there is a big heron nesting colony in the willows-jungle around the Big Lake. Plenty of Квак звичайний, Чапля єгипетська, Мала біла чапля, Чепура велика, Чапля сіра, Чапля руда, Косар білий and Чапля жовта nest in the area. But there are many other interesting birds to see like Мартин середземноморський, Пірникоза сірощока, Крех малий, Орлан-білохвіст and Щеврик червоногрудий.
