This site and the surrounding area is excelent for Сплюшка євразійська, Сова вухата and, nearby, Сич хатній and Сипуха. On the church roof, heading towards Skala Kalloni, a Лелека білий nest is located. Other species include warblers, buntings and larks.

Access
Papiana is a small village Between Skala Kalloni and Kerami and can be reached from the Kallonis to Eresou road. Parking on one of the small sideroads making sure you don't block access to anywhere. Head for the Olive Groves viewed from opposite the school and playground.
