Description
Vogelfreistätte Mittlere Isarstauseen is one of the most valuable water bird sanctuaries in Bavaria. It has mixed habitats supporting a variety of species. The almost six square kilometers nature reserve has a high nature conservation significance. The water bodies are not used for recreational purposes and hunting is prohibited in the entire protected area. Among the birds you can see are Рибалочка блакитний, Пастушок, Пірникоза мала, Крижень, Чернь чубата, Попелюх звичайний, Чернь червонодзьоба, Крех середній, Баклан великий, Чапля сіра, Чепура велика, Лунь очеретяний and Яструб малий.
