Description

In winter, the reservoir of Talsperre Spremberg is home to Лебідь-кликун, Гоголь зеленоголовий and different geese. In summer, waders and warblers breed there and in the surrounding woods different tits and Золотомушка жовточуба can be found.

Access

By public transport: The train from Cottbus to Zittau stops in Bagenz (per request) and Spremberg. Follow the sign; the hiking paths are well-marked. By bike: The cycle-paths on both sides of the reservoir are well-marked. By car: There are tourist areas on both sides of the reservoir near the dam. Follow the signs from Spremberg or Cottbus.
