Description
Stausee Hengsen is a reservoir north of the course of the river Ruhr and south of Holzwickede. In the middle of the lake is a small island with a breeding colony of Баклан великий, whose concentrated excrement has largely destroyed the island's vegetation over the course of the years. Other birds you can encounter in the area are Гуска сіра, Казарка канадська, Лебідь-шипун, Каргарка нільська, Крижень, Пірникоза мала, Пірникоза велика and Чернь чубата.
