Description
The Leipheimer Moos is a beautiful moorland with wide areas for Лунь очеретяний as well as the rare Деркач лучний, Жовта плиска, Кобилочка-цвіркун and migratory Щеврик лучний. In the reed areas north of the border ditch Синьошийка likes to sing, in the cattle pastures Трав'янка чорноголова and along the boardwalk circuit (the boardwalk itself is unfortunately closed) Крутиголовка звичайна, Соловейко західний, Баранець звичайний, Чайка чубата, Кропив’янка сіра, Зозуля звичайна, Фазан and Жовна чорна can be heard or seen.
Also worth a visit in autumn/winter when there are Лунь польовий, Сірий (Великий) сорокопуд, Сова болотяна, Гуска білолоба and Журавель сірий.

Access
The Leipheimer Moos is located in north of the town of Günzburg. The area is perfect to explore by bike and on foot. You can park your car south of the area at the Herdweg parking area in Leipheim. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking. The Herdweg area provides convenient access to the moor and its hiking trails.
