Nice area with wet meadows and productive surrounding forests. Very good for Трав'янка чорноголова and Щеврик лучний and all kinds of birds of prey.

Description

Especially on warm summer days the area is good for all kinds of raptors as they breed in the surrounding forests like Scheidebusch, Kannenbruch, Grönauer Heide. Woodpeckers, Голуб-синяк, Лелека білий or Журавель сірий pass by frequently. In the evening the call of up to 3 Слуква лісова is not unusual, sometimes Баранець звичайний too. Typicall breeding species are Журавель сірий, Трав'янка чорноголова, Жайворонок польовий, Трав’янка лучна, Сорокопуд терновий and Щеврик лучний.

Access

There is a bus going to the village of Krummesse. Then walk. You can also take the car till the red and white "no entry sign". A bike is fine too.
