Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord is a complex of gravel pits west of Rössing. Breedings birds include Очеретянка середземноморська and Очеретянка велика. More important from October to February for wintering waterbirds. Gulls and Гуска сіра roost in July and August. Birds you can observe in the area include Гуска білолоба, Гуменник, Нерозень, Крижень, Чирянка мала, Чернь чубата, Крех великий, Крех середній, Пірникоза мала, Пірникоза велика, Лиска звичайна, Вівсянка очеретяна, Мартин звичайний, Мартин сивий, Мартин скельний, Мартин сріблястий, and Мартин жовтоногий.

The Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord are located west of the town of Rössing and north of the town of Nordstemmen. You can park along the road near the sports field. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From there you can explore the area on foot or by bike.
