Description
Originally created by monks, the upper and lower Kelzer Teich continue to be used for fish farming. All other bodies of water were created for nature conservation reasons. Очеретянка ставкова, Пірникоза мала and Пастушок breed in the extensive reed beds. Підсоколик великий and Лунь очеретяний hunt here and every year at migration time Скопа can be observed. Occasionally, rarities such as Бугай водяний, Пірникоза сірощока or Чапля руда are also reported. In winter the water from the ponds is drained.
