Description
The Hemmelsdorfer See is a lake that has many different water birds, depending on the time of year. Breeding birds include Лебідь-шипун, Нерозень, Лиска звичайна and Пірникоза велика. Other birds that are observerd regularly are Рибалочка блакитний, Орлан-білохвіст, Лунь очеретяний, Очеретянка ставкова, Очеретянка велика, Синьошийка and Сутора вусата, або синиця вусата. During migration you can observe birds like Мартин малий, Скопа, Крячок чорний and Попелюх звичайний.
Coolest one I've seen were Крех малий in winter and I heard Вивільга звичайна in the trees in summer. The boardwalk goes out into the lake and along the reeds. Also great spot for landscape photography.

Otherwise there is a free, public parking area available a little further down the road, which I marked as the trail head. Click on a P in the map for directions.
