Description
The Hauke-Haie-Koog is an important resting and moulting area for many bird species in the Wadden Sea. Every year in spring and autumn when migrating, thousands of geese come to the Hauke-Haien-Koog to rest and moult. Large flocks of Побережник чорногрудий also use this area as a high water resting place.
