Description
Abgrabung Graverdyk is a quarry pond with only a few places, where birdwatchers can see the area. There is an observation point overlooking the western lake, which can be recommended during winter to look out for wintering waterfowl. Most prominent guests are Чернь чубата, Попелюх звичайний and Шилохвіст, but also rare visitors such as Турпан or Гагара червоношия have been observed (you have to be very lucky, though). In other seasons there are not too many birds to be seen on the lake. During spring and autumn migration a sandbank in the eastern main lake draws wading birds, such as Чайка чубата, Коловодник лісовий, Коловодник болотяний, Брижач, Побережник чорногрудий, Пісочник малий or Пісочник великий. There is an opening in the trees surrounding the lake and a place, where birders can watch the sandbank. It is indicated in the map (you have to watch through an iron fence). There is a Ластівка берегова colony on the new lake in the east (spring / summer), but it is difficult to watch due to distance. I have indicated a spot with an overlook. The trees / hedges around the lake contain a variety of song birds.

Access
There is no dedicated parking, but you can park along the roadside near the observation point on the grass next to the road (make sure you do not block farm and residential traffic). Given the distance to the birds you will need a spotting scope. Apart from the observation point (interesting only in winter) you will have to watch through iron fence from the roadside (very quiet field access roads).
