Description
You will reach the monument on your drive from Tblisi to Kazbegi, a few kilometers before the Jvari pass. It is a tourist attraction with car park and people selling food and memorabilia. There is a large observation platform and a smaller one near the car park. Look up for migrating birds like Осоїд євразійський, Яструб коротконогий, Шуліка чорний or local Беркут, Серпокрилець білочеревий or Крук звичайний. On the rocks below you can see species like Клушиця, Галка альпійська, Тинівка альпійська, Стінолаз and Дрізд гірський. Check the grassland for Щеврик гірський and Щедрик королівський.
