Шуліка чорний is a often seen and if you are very lucky you can spot the rare Орел-карлик яструбиний (two pairs nest in the Gorge du Gardon). Other birds you can encounter include Голуб сизий, Горлиця звичайна, Серпокрилець білочеревий, Мала біла чапля, Вивільга звичайна, Ластівка скельна, Горобець скельний and Соловейко західний.

The Pont du Gard is well signposted from Remoulins. Note that the parking at the Pont du Gard is quite expensive. A short drive in the direction of Uzès gives free parking within walking distance of the Pont du Gard and immediately the opportunity to encounter Бджолоїдка звичайна and Одуд.
