Description

Parc du Chemin de l'Île is a park with several ponds not far from the river Seine. The park functions as a water purification installation. Migratory and resident birds can be observed: From herons to ducks and geese to gulls.

De nombreux oiseaux de passage ou permanent peuvent-être observés : hérons cendrés, canards, poules d'eau, foulque macroules, oïes et bernaches su Canada, mouettes...

Access

Parc du Chemin de l'Île is located not far from the Nanterre Université RER station. There are a few parking spaces in front of the park. Click on the P in the map for directions. You can explore the park by bike or on foot, along the towpath. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 2 km.

Français: À vélo ou à pieds, par le chemin de halage. Non loin de la gare RER de Nanterre Université. Quelques place de stationement devant le parc. Le parcours pédestre circulaire indiqué sur la carte fait environ 2 km.
