Étang de Goule covers an area of approximately 100 hectares. Among the birds you can observe are Чепура велика, Чапля сіра, Підкоришник короткопалий, Ластівка міська, Вивільга звичайна, Одуд, Рибалочка блакитний, Чапля єгипетська, Горлиця звичайна, Пірникоза мала and Чирянка мала. Access
Étang de Goule is easily accessible by car. It is located near the towns of Bourges, Nevers, Montluçon, and Moulins. You can take the A71 motorway (exit 8) or the N7 road. Follow the signs for "Base de loisirs" or "Étang de Goule". Press P on the map for directions. You can make a circular walk of 6 km around the lake.
