Description
Tissø is the 4th largest freshwater lake in Denmark. It is easy to acces and overlook. Tissø is home to a rich and varied birdlife and Орлан-білохвіст breeds here and it is easy to see. Also Скопа can be seen. On the lake itself Пірникоза велика, Крех великий, various dabbling and diving ducks, geese and Лиска звичайна are usual residents. The beach meadows and reed beds house many foraging and breeding birds like Чоботар синьоногий, Крячок малий, Вівсянка очеретяна, Лунь очеретяний in addition to Бугай водяний, Сутора вусата, або синиця вусата and Кобилочка-цвіркун.

Access
Almost all of the lakeside is on private hands, but there is a publicly accessible birdwatching tower near Fugledegård. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking. From there it's a 500 meter walk to the observation tower.
