Description
Velký Rybník is a lake and nature reserve located on the upper reaches of the Lužnička stream. The lake and the reed beds are used by many birds during migration. Birds that visit or breed in the area include Пірникоза мала, Зозуля звичайна, Пастушок, Лунь очеретяний, Очеретянка велика, Жайворонок польовий, Щиглик звичайний, Чиж лісовий, Костогриз and Вівсянка звичайна.
Note that lake is used for sport fishing. It is fished from the dam and the banks near it.

Access
The Velký Rybník Nature Reserve is located 1.5 km northeast of the village of Rybniště in the southwestern part of the Šluknov Uplands. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot.
