Description
The Handzame Broeken area consists of a extensive agricultural area, being mainly pastures, with scattered trees, bushes and willow tree lanes. The Kreekebeek river flows through the area and is a great spot for waterfowl, like Чирянка мала, Свищ євразійський and Широконіска північна. The surrounding pastures are good for flocks of Чайка чубата. In winter, these pastures are part of the hunting grounds for Лунь польовий. In winter, area is also good for Лебідь-кликун.
The scattered (willow) trees are great for observing Сич хатній and Голуб-синяк. The scattered bushes and fences are a great spot for breeding species, like Трав'янка чорноголова and Трав’янка лучна.
