Erholungsgebiet Wienerberg has different habitats that attract birds. Numerous garden bird species such as Ополовник звичайний, або синиця довгохвоста, Снігур звичайний and Костогриз can be seen. But also water birds like Баклан великий, Мартин звичайний, Пірникоза велика, Лиска звичайна, and Чапля сіра. If you're lucky, you might also see Яструб малий or Канюк звичайний.
