Lake in Wentworth Falls that was created by the damming of Jamison Creek. The Lake is home to waterfowl and other birds.
Wentworth Falls Lake is good for easy birding. An easy walk in a pleasant and easily accessible location with a large variety of birds potentially seen, although it is dominated by a few people tolerant species. Among the birds you can observe are Eurasian Coot, Pacific Black Duck, Maned Duck, Little Pied Cormorant, Superb Fairywren, Great Egret, Red Wattlebird, Buff-banded Rail and Australasian Swamphen.
Wentworth Falls Lake is within the town and easily accessible on site parking. Currently being upgraded to wheelchair access and paved circular route. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates.
