Description

The Armenian Alphabet Monument sits on a windswept plateau at the foot of Mt. Aragats, surrounded by rocky hills, grasslands, and scattered shrubs. A great mix of open habitats. The area offers wide, unobstructed views, making it easy to spot soaring raptors like Канюк степовий and Орел-карлик малий. Larks (Жайворонок польовий, Посмітюха), pipits (Щеврик польовий and Щеврик гірський), and shrikes are common in the warmer months. It's a peaceful, scenic spot with very little disturbance, combining birdwatching with striking views and the surreal beauty of giant stone letters.
