Description
Djimla Forest is also known as Forêt de Bouafroune. The forest sits at an elevation of 1,287 meters. It is a mixed forest with clearings where Algerian Nuthatch and Atlas Flycatcher can be observed. Other birds that have been spotted include Сип білоголовий, Змієїд блакитноногий, Орел-карлик малий, Сова (сіра) мавританська, Одуд, Бджолоїдка звичайна, Levaillant's Woodpecker, Крук звичайний and Вивільга звичайна.

Djimla Forest is located south of the town of Djimla (marked with 1 on the map). It is best to explore the forest with a guide.
