Description

Birds that top the list in Thursden Valley are Kar Tavuğu ssp scotica, Kuzgun and the laughing Yeşil Ağaçkakan. One minute your on open barren moorland the next your in the woods. Among the other birds you can encounter are Poyrazkuşu, Peçeli Baykuş, Kerkenez, Tarlakuşu, Çayır incirkuşu, Büyük tarakdiş, Taşkuşu, İspinoz, Kervançulluğu, Kır baykuşu and Kukumav.

Access

Thursden Valley is located northeast of Burnley. You can park near the Coldwell reservoirs. Click on the P in the map for directions, Or you can make the journey big and come from either Widdop or Hurstwood. Best to explore the area by foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 1,8 mile (3 km).
