This rugged peninsula in Caithness is the most northerly point of mainland Britain. The seacliffs and coastal grasslands are great for birdwatching.
Dunnet Head on the north coast of Scotland is a wild and untamed landscape, with stunning sea cliffs and coastal grasslands which are home to deniz papağanı, Usturagaga, yaygın alk, Kutup Fırtınakuşu and Karaayaklı martı. Other species may be seen at sea such as Sümsükkuþu and Kuzey Gümüş Martı. Büyük Korsanmartı and Korsanmartı are often present harrying the other seabird species for food. In Autumn you might see Sarıgagalı ketenkuşu as they gather on the overhead wires.
From the A836, take the B855 north to Brough for two miles (3 km) until you reach Dunnet Head. There is a large car park at Dunnet Head.
