Description

Llandrindod Wells Lake is best avoided in high summer from a birding perspective due to the rafting, sailing and kayaking activities. In spring there may be Kındıra kamışçını, Saz Kamışçını, Bataklık kirazkuşu, Yalıçapkını, Küçük ak balýkçýl, Karabatak, plus woodpeckers, Benekli sinekkapan, Kara sinekkapan, Söğütbülbülü, Kızılkuyruk and Çulluk in the woods.

Access

Llandrindod Wells is 4 miles east of the A470 Rhayader-Builth Wells road. The train station is a stop on the scenic Heart of Wales line, see link below. The lake is at the southern end of the town. The figure of eight walking loop shown is 2 km.
