Woodland trust forest with lots of tracks. Main track 3-4 miles is wide stone track.
Hemsted Forest is rich in different bird species. It has a gently undulating landscape and a mix of conifers and broad-leaved trees. This makes for some beautiful views across open areas and through the less-dense undergrowth beneath the evergreens. Wide hard-stone surfaced paths criss-cross the forest, together with numerous more wild and less accessible trails. Among the birds you can encounter are Guguk, Çulluk, Çakýr, Şahin, Kukumav, Alaca Baykuş, Orman alaca ağaçkakanı, Yeşil Ağaçkakan, Kuzgun, Çam baştankarası, Kayın Baştankarası, Uzunkuyruklu baştankara, Karabağlı ötleğen, Boz ötleğen, Küçük Ak Gerdanlı Ötleğen, Çalıkuşu, Sıvacı, Orman tırmaşıkkuşu, Çitkuşu, Ökse ardıcı, Kızıl ardıç, Tarla ardıcı, Öter ardıç, Dağ ispinozu, Şakrak, Florya, Karabaşlı iskete and Saka.
