Description

At Gunthorpe Gravel Pits 120+ species of bird have been seen, including Sütlabi, Büyük tarakdiş and Tarakdiş in winter, when Kızkuşu, Kaşıkgaga and teal can be numerous on flooded fields. Spring brings Saz Kamışçını, Kındıra kamışçını, Çekirge Kamışçını to breed, and Kara sumru, Kuyrukkakan and Çayır taşkuşu on migration. In summer, Delice doğan hunt swallows over the ponds.
