Description

Corsham Park was designed and landscaped by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in 1761. The park, just on the Eastern edge of the town of Corsham has a large lake on it's Eastern edge. BE AWARE whilst a lot of the park has free access, even though the park is privately owned, the Northern side of the lake and Eastern wooded areas are strictly private (Press STARS on map). Birds include Kanada Kazı, Altıngöz, Kaşıkgaga, Fiyu, Çamurcun, Boz ördek, Elmabaş patka, Tepeli patka, Yeşilbaş and Sakarmeke are regularly seen. Büyük tarakdiş use the lake as a night time roost during Winter, arriving at sunset and departing at sunrise to local rivers. The site is one of those places that is always worth visiting if you are in the area. Kara sumru and Halkalı Patka are on the sites list and a friendly female Başlıklı Tarakdiş was discovered many years ago.

BE AWARE Livestock may be present on site.
