Brampton Abbotts receding winter floods attract 3 species of egret, herons, and gulls. Kum kırlangıcı colony in spring. River has Yalıçapkını, Dağ kuyruksallayanı and Büyük tarakdiş. Fields have Kızıl Keklik, Peçeli Baykuş, Kukumav, Kızıl Çaylak, Şahin, Kuzgun, Atmaca, Tarlakuşu and hares. Ancient orchard in village attracts thrushes, finches, Sarı kirazkuşu and Gökçe güvercin.
From A40/M50 roundabout take Ledbury exit, first left, left again at T junction then immediately right. Park at church, village hall or farm cafe. Bus 459 from Ledbury or Ross, one bus per day. Nearest train station Hereford, 10 miles. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 6 km.
