Description

Çelebibağı Marshes has different habitats that attract many bird species. The landscape is unique with vast mud flats in the Lake Van closed basin. Shorebirds and other water birds are abundant and the diversity of birds is impressive. Among the birds you can observe in the area are Angit, Flamingo, Su kılavuzu, Turna, Çıkrıkçın, Uzunbacak, Kılıçgaga, Halkalı cılıbıt, Saz delicesi, Yılan Kartalı, Kızıl şahin, Çulhakuşu, Arıkuşu, Gökkuzgun, but also rare birds like Ötücü kuğu, Küçük Kuğu, Deniz düdükçünü and many more.
