Le Verney is one of the richest sites for nesting birds for the Martigny region. The fields, ponds, the hay meadows, the banks of the Rhône and those of the Canal du Syndicat form an interesting mosaic of biotopes with bodies of water, reed beds and riparian woodlands, hedges, trees and groves.
Le Verney is located in a the bend of the river Rhône, just to the north of the town of Martigny. Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 2 km.
